Addition expands services, streamlines care for Tennessee consumers of behavioral health services

Nashville, Tenn. – Omni Community Health, a full-service, statewide behavioral health organization, announces the acquisition of LifeCare Family Services, a community mental health organization with a tradition of offering faith-based services, currently operating nine centers across East and Middle Tennessee. The addition will create a more robust statewide behavioral health organization focused on children and families and expands Omni’s ability to serve in a coordinated and thoughtful manner.

“Our mission is to be the provider of choice in the region for families and agencies needing innovative, quality behavioral health services,” said Omni Community Health CEO Mark Just. “We believe that the addition of LifeCare Family Services and its strong roots providing behavioral health services to children, families and adults helps us to grow and strengthen that mission.”

Founded in 1997, LifeCare has offered individual and family therapy, child and adult psychiatric care and counseling, mental health case management and in-home child and family services. Omni Community Health, a subsidiary of the Omni Family of Services, was formed in 2014 by the merger of two community-based behavioral health organizations, The Solution Source and Foothills Care. Omni and has quickly established itself as a leader in the treatment and care of individuals and families and those needing behavioral health services, residential treatment, in-home treatment, foster and adoption services and services for adults with special needs.

“This is an exciting time for our organization,” said Life Care CEO, Kenny Mauck. “The personalized, quality care our customers have long expected will continue, but will be supplemented by the expanded services and geographic footprint of Omni Community Health. We will work with our employees, patients and payers to ensure a smooth transition.”

Omni Community Health offers a wide variety of services including comprehensive diagnostic and evaluation services, case management, play therapy, medication management and evaluation, trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, wraparound in-home services and school-based intervention services.
